Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 11:43 PM Don't force a child Never say 'Stop crying!' when the child is upset. Never say 'So Noisy! Keep Quiet!' to a child. Never say 'You're so lazy!' when the child is not willing to participate. These are those few things to take note whether its for a child or an adult. The theory applies on both. Imagine, you as an adult is upset and feels like crying. Someone comes along and tells you, 'Don't cry. Crying makes you look ugly. You're an adult already. You shouldn't cry.' Just because we're adults does that makes us different? You mean adults don't have feelings? They don't need to be heard like a child? They aren't allowed to express their feelings? The government should make it compulsory to have parents learn how to be good parents. They should attend early childhood lessons before deciding if they should have one or not. Irresponsible parents make me cringe. Like my lecturer say, there are no bad teachers, just ignorant ones. I'll say, there are no bad parents, just ignorant ones.
