Monday, October 13, 2008, 10:55 PM kiasu people Haha. This is real funny. Singaporeans are Kiasu. And I am included. =X Took a train home and was waiting for the bus 70M/ 103. I waited at the 70M bustoo while 103 was at the opposite. The bus usually takes damn long to come so we as the Kiasu people will take whatever comes first. And 103 came first, So everyone rushed across the road without bothering incoming traffic. And I followed suit. I was like standing in the middle of the road! with cars and motorcycles and lorries driving pass barely missing our feet. A nice driver stopped just to let us cross. But that was only half the road. The other was worst. It was full of incoming traffic of cars driving at high speed. Who in the right mind would wna cross and risk their life? Haha. I did! =P Luckily it was only a 2 lane road. 1 for the Bus, 1 for the cars. Nevertheless, I dashed across, ignoring the driver trying to leave the bustop and almost banging us down. Luckily he didn't, cause I'll SUE HIM! So YEAH! I got my bus ride home. The only infuriating part was that after risking so much, 70M came, turning right at the junction. Horrid driver!
